Community Involvement
Miguel is a member of the Board of Directors of Project Youth OCBF, an Orange County based nonprofit empowering at-risk youth and their families to make positive choices through education, counseling, mentoring and family strengthening. Miguel has also served as a past president of Project Youth OCBF's Associate Board of Directors. Miguel actively participates and fundraises for the Project Youth OCBF’s numerous philanthropic programs and initiatives serving over 1,100 at-risk youth each year. He has acted as a mentor to Latino high school students (and their families) through the college testing, preparation and application processes. Miguel is also a past Director of the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association, a group committed to pro bono, and providing scholarships to law school students of Latino origin and community in Orange County.
Miguel is an active member with the following organizations: Orange County Bar Association, Maricopa Bar Association, California Society for Healthcare Attorneys, Round Table of Orange County, Young Leaders Organization (YLO).
